T-BOX: turns T-DROP into a stand-alone spreading system

Skyinnov designs and commercializes trichogramma spreaders for drone, in order to fight naturally against a corn pest, the corn borer.
After several seasons of flying drones over farmland, releasing trichogramma wasps over cornfields, and testing and refining the equipment under all weather conditions, the Skyinnov teams decided to develop their own release system. Thus, the T-DROP system was born out of real-world experience, designed to meet the challenges faced by farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and drone pilots, offering great flexibility and excellent technical capabilities.
Over the past several years, Skyinnov has developed solid expertise in the design of drone equipment for professional use. In particular, Skyinnov designs electronic identification tags compatible with the leading drones on the market, as well as an electronic signal detection system. The development of the T-DROP thus draws on the experience gained in designing reliable electronic systems and high-precision components to meet the needs of drone pilots.
The T-DROP can accommodate two compatible tank sizes: 5 or 8 liters of pellets, depending on the drone’s capacity.
The T-DROP offers a high output of up to 3 beads per second, allowing for large area coverage.
The onboard electronics provide valuable information to the remote pilot, including drop points and the total number of balls actually dropped, which makes reporting easier.
The T-BOX is a complementary accessory that attaches to our trichogramme spreader. Equipped with a remote control, it allows an autonomous use of the spreader. Indeed, the spreading system being dissociated from the drone, you can install it on any drone capable of carrying it, including DJI drones, or any other agricultural machine.
The dispenser requires at least a 5-volt power supply and an available output to control the release. You can also control the release mechanism using an additional output and an input for feedback. If your drone does not have these outputs, you can use our T-Box system, which will make your dispenser fully autonomous and compatible with all drones on the market capable of carrying it, including DJI and YUNEEC drones ... Your drone must have the capacity and size to carry the trichogramma spreaders. See the manual for more details.
The T-DROP tank is equipped with multiple mounting points for easy installation (mounting plan provided). After the physical installation, the T-DROP power supply (5v) and the various control cables must be connected. Finally, you will have to configure the control parameters on your drone. See installation instructions.

Our system accepts starch and cellulose Trichogramma beads up to 25 mm in diameter (e.g. AMW, bioline, etc.).
The T-DROP is equipped with two interchangeable and compatible tanks, one of 5 liters and the other of 8 liters.

The T-DROP is equipped with a digital display featuring two different counters: the number of balls requested and the number of balls actually released. By comparing the two counters, you can verify whether the marbles have actually been dispensed or not (e.g., empty tray). The T-DROP is also equipped with LEDs to facilitate remote visual monitoring. (The LED lights up each time marbles are dispensed.)
If you have chosen to connect the feedback system, you will be able to retrieve release information directly from your ground station.
When the logs are no longer passing through the spreader, the LEDs remain permanently lit to inform you. (empty spreader, blockage...).
If you use feedback, you'll also see it directly on your ground station.
The whole system has been designed to allow flights in the rain, provided that your drone is also able to do so. The T-DROP allows you to maintain your flight program despite difficult weather conditions.
The T-DROP system has been designed to be easily repairable. All parts are easily replaceable and available for after-sales service, upon request by email to contact@skyinnov.fr.
The T-DROP is designed, programmed and assembled by hand in Skyinnov's workshops in France. Each model is tested before shipping.
